The Classic Ford Show was held at Santa Pod Raceway at the beginning of June 2010, primarly for 60's, 70's and 80's Fords with a smattering of 50's Zodiacs, Zephys and Ford Pops, the whole event has a very different feel to later model and imprt meetings, there was a distinct lack of scantily clad young ladies, a hallmark of the modified and import shows and meetings.
The old Ford scene seems to attract a more down to earth grasroots crowd, who are both friendly and deeply dedicated to the restoration and modification of these wonderful old Fords. Our favourites were Henry Hi-Rise a street racing Mk2 Consul from the early 80's the thunderous V8 Ford Pops and the evergreen Mk1 Cortina.
